This video illustrates the throughput of limed cake at 30 TPH after passing through the lime plant and discharging onto the stockpile.
Note the absorption of lime within the mix with minimal lime in evidence coating the lumps of cake, it having been totally dispersed throughout the mix.
Also note the rapid change in colour from the point of discharge and the recently treated pile adjacent to the discharge stockpile as the exothermic reaction continues to take place.
The adjacent pile has recently been moved from the discharge stockpile to allow space for the continuous delivery of treated cake.
