Powder Dosing Plant.
These compact, relocatable plants are designed to provide a consistent quantitative delivery in the selected ratio of lime powder and cake to the mixing vessels and a thorough, homogeneous mixture as it leaves the final ploughshare mixer to stockpile for distribution by others.
The plant was designed to provide:
- Continuous automated operation – 24 hours/day for 7 days/week
- Automatic control of the lime dosing operations to optimise lime usage
- Plant availability in excess of 95% based on continuous operation over a three-year period
- A design life of the plant in excess of 25 years.
These plants are for an imported cake feed system for operator-controlled telehandler and shovel feeding of imports into the plant
The plant detects the presence of cake in the import hopper and automatically sends it into the dosing system whenever there is capacity to receive it.
Treated cake is stockpiled in the holding bay for collection and disposal to land by local contractors.
